My internship at EURA NOVA
Renaud Vilmart (Mines de Nancy) did an Engineering Internship at EURA NOVA from June to September. In the article, Renaud describes his experience as an intern.
Large Graph Mining
End of July, I was presenting a lecture to the European Business Intelligence Summer School organized by the Univeristé Libre de Bruxelles and the Ecole Centrale Paris. I presented a lecture on large graph mining. In this post I will quickly introduce this fascinating topic.
Structural trust inference for social recommendation
Every year EURA NOVA proposes and leads Master thesis with Faculty of Science Engineering of Belgian Universities. In this post I will quickly come back on one of those master thesis organized with the Polytechnic School of Louvain-La-Neuve and I will give an high level overview of the Daire O’Doherty’s work.
One year of academic research
The R&D Department has been very active this academical year 2010-2011 and has organized research activities in association with many academic organizations such as the Université Libre the Bruxelles (ULB-Belgium), the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCl-Belgium) and the University of Tunis El Manar (Tunisia). These collaborations have taken the form of students Master Theses and Master internships.
In total, four Master Theses have been conducted, with 2 students from the ULB and 2 students from the UCl, along with 3 internships with 2 students from the ULB and 1 student from the enginnering faculty of Tunis. Here is a summary of these work:
